The apple watch series six in titanium now last year this was called the edition version this year it's not so let me cover the serial number there but as you can see here it says space black titanium case they've dropped the edition word so let's go ahead and open this up now this comes in at a very expensive 799 to1249 depending on the version you get this particular one is the 44 millimeter with a leather band so it comes in at 8.99 so let's go ahead and pull these tabs and see what we've got so here is the watch itself and then we've got the band and you can see it just has a black inside because it's space black so let's set that aside and take a closer look at the watch and the band now the band is nothing new this isn't the newest band but it's what was available so let's go ahead and open this up here get rid of that open this up and pull up the watchman now i've never had one of these leather bands.
I prefer the titanium band but it'll beinteresting to check this one out so this is leather and it's magneti cso we've got two pieces here we'll just take them out of the case for now but they should sort of fold onto one another and hook onto each other sowe'll set that aside and let's open up the watch itself so see i've got to pull this tab here and let's open the watch and on this end it actually says watch edition series 6 space black titanium case so on the outside of the box.
it's not the edition but on the inside it is so let's go ahead and open it up and let's see what we've got so we've got designed by apple in california now one thing to know is this one still comes with a wall adapter the five wat twall adapter as you can see here it's just your standard wall adapter you don't get that with the lower pricedmodels so let's pull this out here and with the watch edition you'll seeit just has a little setup with a special watch facewe've got our little watch edition pamphletand then inside we get a gray sport band with itso i didn't expect that they'd give that with it but comes with itand then inside we have our charge cable now normallythe addition versions or stainless steel versionshave a nice let's pull this out here there we gohave a nice stainless steel ring on them so we get that as welland let's take a look at the watch itself so we'll move the box asideand as you can see it says 44 millimeter see if we can slide this out here.
there we go so the case is space blacktitanium it's sort of a matte black as you can see here and it does getquite a few fingerprints on it now the advantage of the stainless steeland the titanium versions are that the display is sapphire it'svery hard to scratch them so that's something that i reallyappreciate that i had with my series 4 apple watch so let's slide in the bandslide in the band like this and this is the default setup nowbecause it's titanium it's pretty light and like i said it comes in 40 or 44millimeter and this is the gps and cellular modellet's go ahead and turn it on and we'll wait for it to boot up sowe'll press the power button and as you can see we haveour digital crown a little microphone a power buttonand then on the back we've got the new sensors for the blood oxygen sensorand you can see it says series 6 44 millimeter titaniumand ceramic case so ceramic on the bottomsapphire crystal gps lte and then here it says water resistant up to 50 metersso each one of these is 50 meters water resistantand this is much lighter than i thought so let's see this goes like this and then loops back on your wrist soi have huge wrists but it loops back and then magnetically attachesso it's pretty nice that way so let me take this off so we can set it upand you can take a look and you do have to measure your wrist i ordered thelargest band because i have large wrists so i've got my iphone 11pro here let's go ahead and hit continue now one thing to know if you're usingios 14.2 betas you may not have the blood oxygenfeature so you actually have to set it up on ios 14then wipe the watch then go to ios 14.2 and then you'll have the features it'sjust a weird bug right now they'll fix that in the future i'm surebut that's with beta software so with the standard software it works fineso setup for myself and then we're going to take a photo of what appears here orput it in the display so we put that here it should pair withit by itself there we go it says your watch is paireddo you want to restore from a backup or set up as a new watchnow it says on which wrist you wear it on i wear it on left so i press that and now it says connecting your apple watch this may take a momentso we'll wait a little bit for this now if you move thisor tap on it it says please continue setup on iphone so we're just waitingfor it here but there's not much of a differencebetween this apple watch and say the series sixaluminum other than that this is cellular and a different material withsapphire crystals so it should be more durable but mostpeople will not be able to tell the differenceso let's go ahead and hit agree you have to agree to the terms and conditionsand then it says sign into messages on your iphone to receive messages on yourwrist we'll skip it for now i'm going to haveto move things over to this phone but we'll hit okayand then we've got bold text and size we'll leave it where it's at we'll hitcontinue and then create a passcode on the watchso we'll create a passcode over here just for now we'll do one twothree four and it says you shouldn't use thatpassword but we'll just do that for now to make it easyand then keep your watch up to date we'll just hit continueset up apple pay going to skip that for nowand then emergency sos we'll hit continueand then we have clock faces it says installall available apps nope i don't want every app there and then it's going tosync the apple watch now while we wait to sync the applewatch we have to actually go through some of these stepsand hit done it's just showing you how to use itso the digital crown if you just swipe throughyou can get through these pretty quickly and once you have the check mark you'llbe good to go once it's done syncing so now we'll waitfor this to finish syncing and then we'll continue so the watch isdone syncing so let's go ahead and press the digitalcrown to start it vibrates and then dings andthere we go and you can see this is a custom watch face for the titanium bandso you won't get this or for the titanium watch rather you won't get thisunless you actually have a titanium watch so if we press and holdwe can go to maybe a new one see if there's anything elsei don't think there is but let's see what we've gotwe've got all the new ones of course gmt and some of the new ones like momojithat come with watch os 7. stripes of course typograph maybe some custom colors with typographand that's it so now we have this onecalifornia but it's in a special color and you'll see here symbols dialcolor and it says dark titanium so we have this color throughout the watchit's just a nice little addition i suppose now this particular watchbecause it's a series six has a couple new features and those particularfeatures are there's only a couple but one of them ispretty impressive and that is this one right here blood oxygenlevel and so let's put it on my wrist and tryit out now blood oxygen level it needs to be fairly tight on yourwrist and slit up a little bit so we'll hit next it's just giving youdifferent ideas of what to do we'll hit done hit start keep still andlet's see what it comes back with so we have three secondstwo then one and it says i'm a hundred percent bloodoxygen level so that's pretty good that's as good as you can get which isnice now the other thing this watch gives youis an always-on display but the always-on display is twice as brightand the way you can see this is if you tilt your your watch off to the sideyou'll see it dimmed a little bit and it's twice as bright ican see it but as i pick my watch up it comes to lifebrightens up and sort of fills in around some of thedials for example so if i if it goes to sleep they go awayif i pick my wrist back up they sort of outline and then it works again so it'spretty nice that way and then this also has an always-oncompass so if we go to the compass here or an always-on altim altimeter withinthe compass i should say so if we scroll down here you can see myelevation is 649 feet and my incline of my wrist you can seechanges as i change the incline of my wristand as i raise this up you'll see 650 feetwe'll go back down 649 feet so it's always recording your elevation ofcourse that's all private and kept within the app you could turn it off isuppose if you want and speaking of that someone asked mecan you turn off the always on display and i believe you can you go in herego into your settings i'm not sure why you would want to it doesn't really usea whole lot of power but let's see if it's under display andbrightness and always on and then you can turn it off if youdon't want that or you can hide sensitive complicationsso if you want to turn that off of course you canand so of course this has ecg and everything we had with series 4 and 5as well as cellular data as well so it should be really nice to usethis titanium is very nice and super light it'svery very light and that's the advantage of titanium it's really strongstronger than steel but is light as aluminum usually sothis looks pretty good i may put the band on from the series six that i havecontrasting the red series six apple watchbut i really like this leather strap i haven't used this one either soit'll be nice oh and if you'd like to get your hands on one of these straps ofcourse i'll link this in the description this one's actually from nomad a lot ofpeople ask me about it so hopefully you'll enjoy it but thisparticular watch seems pretty nice i'm excited to use itof course we have all those other sensors built in with cellular i'll
