Hello everyone. I want to talk to you about an app I'vebeen using for the past three months which in my opinion is the best for homeworkout,
but before we get into that I'll kindly ask you to subscribe to thechannel and press that Bell icon so you will be notified whenever I post newvideos! the app I wanna talk to you about is called HomeWorkout. it is availableon both Google Play and Appstore so you can use it on pretty much every mobiledevice that runs on Android or iOS from smartphones to tablets and even the iPodTouch. Now I know there are a lot of fitness and workout apps out there butwhat brought this to my attention is the fact that it's calisthenic based, whichmeans they have different programs with exercises. exercises you can performwithout any special equipment.
they also have some programs for which you onlyneed some dumbbells, so this made it perfect for meand with the gyms closed for all this time it turned out very useful now let me take you through the features.the interface is quite easy to use. you have a four weeks plan which I like themost by the way and this is split into full body, which is more like upper bodyI don't know why they call it like this and the lower body. I chose to go withboth of them daily and what's really cool about the program is that every dayyou exercise different muscles and that gives them the time to rest.
so let's sayif you do the full body maybe you start with arms, tomorrow you focus on abs andafter tomorrow on chest, so by the time you start the cycle again your arms willbe rested.
also at the start and finish of each program you get to do somewarm-up and stretching which I used to ignore before and this kind of helps youavoid any injuries to your joints or muscles.
beside these 4 weeks challengeyou have 3 different plans that you can choose from beginner, intermediate andadvanced based on how fit you are and each one of them is split into 5 so youcan focus on specific group muscles like abs, chest, arms, legs or shoulder and back.you get a big variety of exercises and some of them are bet you might not evenknow so you should try all of them. the only thing I didn't really like orenjoyed is the chest program. this is basically all push ups so when I startedI thought: hmmm...
I can do push-ups so let me get the advanced one. well as it turnedout I was completely wrong so I needed longer breaks in between sets andstruggle to finish the whole program but the worst thing is it puts a lot ofpressure on your shoulder so I was in big pain over the following days. so myadvice is start from the beginner and work your way up based on how easy youfind the exercises. moving on you have this discover tab where you getdifferent programs that allow you to focus onbuilding muscles, fat burning or you have some warm-up and stretching workouts, another big variety so let me show you how they look like. let's say you want todo some warm-up.
select one of them and you will see an estimated time tocomplete and the calories burned and then you get to see like a preview and howlong you have to do that exercise. in some cases you will see the number ofreps you have to do, so if you press one of them you will see an animation withwritten instructions on how to do it or you can choose to watch a video with thevoice over and when you press start you will be taken to each one of them tillyou reach the end. also when you set up your profile if you're using an iOS deviceyou can choose to synchronize it with Apple health so you can view all your...
allof your progress in one convenient place which I think it's a great feature. theapp has a free version if you want to try it and also an yearly membershipwhere for less than five pounds a month you can get some extra workout plans andeverything ad free so for that amount of money I think it's worth trying if youwould like to start to work out at home. and that's about it for this video. ifyou enjoyed it give it a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel! also if youknow any better apps let me know in the comments below and like always thank youfor watching and I'll see you next time!
